RememberTheMilk for Gmail: how to make tasks due never by default

Here’s my problem: I daily use Firefox extension for RTM for Gmail. Each time I add a task without specifying the due date it automatically becomes due today. I would prefer the due date to be “never” though.

Solution:

  • Log in to Gmail
  • Go to Settings
    gmail menu

  • Go to Tasks (BTW this is the menu for Remember The Milk settings)
    settings -> tasks

  • Set “Default due date” setting to “never”
    default due date: never

  • You are happy now.
